This elegantly restored 1885 Victorian two story villa features native rimu panelling and carved fireplaces.

Guests can relax in the sitting room with its cosy fireplace, enjoying a complimentary port or sherry.

There is also the Brookside garden to sit and relax and listen to the Tuis or feed the ducks and eels in the brook.

The Baywick Inn is also home to Mombozzie, the wire haired fox terrier who only greets guests at their request.

As members of the NZ Historical Places Trust we both enjoy sharing with guests the history of our home, highlights like the 1929 earthquake and the work we did to renovate and restore the Baywick Inn.

Tim owns the only New Zealand company that manufactures redwood wine racks and designs custom made wine cellars...he also knows some very good wines to put in your cellar.
